Our Mission
The Santa Barbara S.E.T. Support Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency. The foundation was formed to bring together charitable donors, community leaders, and nonprofit organizations to support and encourage the philanthropic support of Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Deputies by providing training and equipment, all to enhance the quality of service and safety for the communities served.

Fighting crime is becoming more and more difficult in today’s world. Our police force is required to continually purchase equipment and technology to defend against our latest threats. The S.E.T. Foundation uses its donations to help law enforcement purchase these new and innovative tools to keep our families and community safe.
The foundation provides the ability for deputies to enroll in advanced education and training critical for their safety and success in the field.
The S.E.T. responds to the most dangerous and complex calls within our community and beyond. Specialized equipment is crucial to respond efficiently and effectively.
